Arab Gas
HOW WE TACKLED THE MISSION GIVEN TO US
Brief
Construction of a major part of the Syrian segment of The Arab Gas pipeline intended to supply natural gas from Egypt to Europe, through various middle eastern countries.
UCECC is proud to have taken the lead in the construction of two phases within the country. The two projects were awarded as sub contracts by two different government contractors.
The 1st phase was extended along 321km, running from the Syrian – Jordanian borders to the suburbs of Homs city. The 2nd phase was constructed over a length of 62km from Al Roudwania Station in Aleppo and up to The Syrian – Turkish borders. A unified pipeline diameter of 36” was set for both lines.
Results
The project was completed on time and without exceeding the allocated budget, where UCECC delivered a high degree of construction integrity.
