EMAL Plant
HOW WE TACKLED THE MISSION GIVEN TO US
Brief
Construction of a 36” pipeline extending over 16 km. The purpose of this project was to supply gas to Emirates Aluminium from GASCO’s Al-Taweelah Energy Complex.
The project was awarded to UCECC as a subcontract from ALSA Engineering, where our firm provided a comprehensive work-scheme including: pipe transportation, fabrication, fit-up, welding and NDT along with any necessary equipment (i.e. cranes, trailers, sidebooms and welding machines, to name but a few).
Results
The project was completed on time and without exceeding the allocated budget, where UCECC delivered a high degree of construction integrity.
